Seven Pillars of Good Government

SEVEN PILLARS OF GOOD GOVERNMENT 

1. Competent - Has the necessary ability, knowledge, or skill to do the job successfully

2. Accountable - Required or expected to justify actions and decisions.

3. Transparent - Actions lack hidden agendas or ulterior motives. Complies with legal disclosure requirements.

4. Honest - Truthful. Without deception.

5. Responsible - Can be trusted to do what is right or to do the things that are expected or required.

6. Efficient - Not wasteful. Faithful trustees of public funds.

7. Disciplined - Requiring that rules or orders be obeyed and punishing bad behavior.
